I read a bit of the linked thread, then Googled and found [url=http://reclock.free.fr/]this[/url], but I’m still a little lost. I understand that it makes the video match the clock of the GPU in order to-somehow-get you jitter free playback on AVI and MPEG (MPG only?) files. Is that all? Is this primarily for downloaded videos with poor encoding or older videocards? I generally only have jitter if I’ve screwed up my Blu-ray rip somehow, so I’m thinking ReClock isn’t going to help with that. 🙂
I guess the question really should be: Who is this aimed at?
I’m not one to install something at random to see if it improves anything for me, so I’m sorry for what seems to me like a dumb question.
