I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this for weeks and it’s driving me nuts.

I have a Vista home Premium system (x64) running satellite SDTV and OTA HDTV. Everything works great, including my Lifeextender. I was thinking the other night though, I like to go to sleep with the TV on. I know back in the day when we used TV remotes they had Sleep buttons where you could set the TV to go off in 30 or 60 mins or something. I’ve tried to google it but if there’s an answer to it then it’s getting lost in the results for solutions to getting the PC to go in or out of sleep mode. Note that’s not what I want to do, the PC stays on 24 hours a day. I just want the PC to shut down the Media Center program and it would be great if the screen saver would go on and the monitor shut off as scheduled normally when the PC is idle.

I also have a Harmony 550 remote with a few spare programmable buttons to spare if there’s a way to bind the solution to one of those.

    Any ideas?
