[RESOLVED] HDHomeRun TV app broken on some Samsung smart TVs

[Night Rider]

Recently purchased a Silicondust HD Homerun Prime
with the intent to stream tuner information to my
Samsung 32″ Class 1080p LED Smart HDTV UN32EH5300
Ran a wired connection up to the bedroom and
was disapointed to find the HDHomeRun TV app to not work.

The HDHomerun TV app is currently broken
with no word on when it will be fixed as it’s confirmed
by jasonl in this thread on Silicondust’s forum area here

HD Homerun Prime connect perfectly to my two Windows 7 Media Center PCs. It even works over DLNA to the Panasonic DMP-BDT220 Blu Ray player via DLNA, though the DLNA client is lacking in features.

The HDHomerun TV app has been broken sence late July,
with no response from SiliconDust support staff after July 25th.

FWIW, I pinged SD about the status of the new tuners last week and was told that something will be announced at IFA/IBC (a few weeks from now).
