I swapped out and Antec True Power 430 for this Seasonic M12 500W Modular Power Supply.
as stated the M12 Modular Power Supply is truly silent.
and yes I could drop the CPU & GPU fan speed, and still keep all cool.
The modular design is a true benefit to reduce cable clutter.
I have the older non modular Seasonic S12 in my 2005 MCE box, and I can say without a doubt that the M12 is both more quiet and a better cooling solution.
