I can’t even begin to tell you how much reading I’ve done this week regarding this. I have a Western Digital 320GB WD3200AAKS, which is a SATA 3.0 Gb/s drive. I’m using the drive on an Asus P5K motherboard, which has 4 x SATA 3.0 Gb/s ports.
1. Should I be using a SATA II cable?
2. Are the P5K’s included SATA cables SATA II? How can I tell?
Talk about being confused!!!
Thanks!
