SD HDHomeRun Prime shared recordings

Is it possible to have 2 Media Center HTPCs share a drive over a wired network for recording of FIOS content received through a HDHomeRun PRIME and then to watch the recordings on either of the Media Center PCs?  

My objective is to eliminate my Verizon DVR and have multi-room access to recordings without having to use Media Center Extenders. My apologies if this has been covered already, but I haven’t been able to find any references to this kind of configuration.

If the recordings are flagged by the content provider, they won’t play back on the second machine (yay DRM).  So depending on the show, some stuff will work fine and some won’t with that setup.
