So I’m trying to decide on a motherboard for my server/office PC. Either going with a Q6600 or Q9300, unless someone can give a better reason to go AMD. What I’m having a hard time deciding is if I should stick with my current tuner cards – 3 PCI cards: MCE500, Cat’s Eye 150, and Fusion 5 lite; or switch to PCIe cards. I’d like to keep 2 SD and 2 HD tuners at a minimum. I do have a Aver M780 that I haven’t used yet.
Any thoughts on which way to go?
I’ll be using WinXP and SageTV if that matters. I get my SD from RF (coax) and HD ota.
