I have a confession: I don’t like “Smash Labs”.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the concept: people using science + engineering to ward off/cause epic destruction. But the high mindedness of the projects combined with the constant [i][b]annoyingly[/b][/i] sincere/serious sounding narrator makes the whole thing seem so pretentious to me. I find myself fast forwarding through 75% of the show just to get to the good stuff, which is weird because my favorite part on Mythbusters is the process and initial experiments rather than the grand finale.
Am I alone on this?
