Now that the new season is upon us, I thought I’d re-ask this question again. What is everyone watching these days?
I started up a couple of new shows to add to what I was watching from previous seasons. The new ones are Burn Notice on USA (just finished their season, can’t wait for it to start again), The Big Bang Theory (great show – where else can you hear Calculus and Physics jokes?!), Back to You (still undecided on this one but we’ll give it a shot for a while) and Private Practice (spinoff of Grey’s Anatomy that my wife and I watch. Not sure if I like it or not yet). I can’t recommend the Big Bang Theory enough. If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to watch it. I think it’s on on Mondays but who can say in the age of the HTPC? ;D Burn Notice was also a very cool show about an ex-spy that is trying to figure out who axed him so that he can get back in the game. Reminds me of a slightly more high tech McGuyver.
From The Big Gang Theory:
Scene: Two males of high intellect sitting in the waiting room of a sperm bank.
Sheldon: What if the baby doesn’t know whether to use an integral or a derivative to find the area under the curve?
Other main character (can’t remember the name): She’s still love it.
Sheldon: I wouldn’t.
What a great line (and if you didn’t think so, it was much better on tv).
This is all in addition to the shows from the past that I’ve continued watching: Eureka (also just ended the season I believe), Bones, CSI, Greys Anatomy, Numb3rs, House, Without a Trace. Medium seems to have ended now. Too bad.
And of course there’s football which stands in a category all its own.
