I’m slowly planning on upgrading my home theater setup, culminating in a new TV purchase next year. The first purchase, since it can be used with my current setup, will be an Onkyo SR-606 receiver. Been planning on getting that for awhile now, hoping to maybe find some deals around the holidays. However, I’m in desperate need of new 5.1 speakers to go with it. And although that’s a quality receiver, I’m not looking to spend massive amounts of money on high end speakers. In fact, I’m quite broke and am looking for the cheapest solution possible that doesn’t completely suck. I know absolutely nothing about speakers, so I’m putting the question out to you guys. HELP!
