This new picture frame from Asus caught my eye.

One of these might be nice in a room without a tv, so you could use a remote to access all of the content on a hidden htpc (even an old laptop under the couch would work) on an unobtrusive small screen. It connects via usb so I’m not sure the video would be stellar. Price will also be a serious consideration on this, but it seems better than other small lcds that are meant for cars.
