OK, so for kicks I downloaded Ubuntu and tried installing it on a spare P3 pc that I have. It seemed nice running it from the CD, so I installed it. But when it asks me to restart as it’s trying to boot it says “GRUB loading…please wait”; and then underneath it says “Error 2” and just sits. Anyone know what this means and/or how to correct it? The install seemed pretty easy and when it asked about partitioning I chose Auto guided or something like that. I don’t think it was possible to do anything wrong on the install.
