So, I’m going to spend some of my tax return on upgrading the HTPC and server. 😀
Old HTPC hardware:
s939 Asus 6150 mobo
s939 X2 3600+
2 gigs of memory
One 320 gig HDD
Antec Fusion (v1) with 430w PSU
Toshiba HD-DVD
Chaintech AV710
Sapphire 650 tuner
Running Vista HP 32 and VMCUpgrades:
X2 Be2350 (Already own, sitting around unused)

Wintec 2 gig 1066 memory
(This is going into my gaming rig and the 800 memory from my gaming rig goes into the HTPC.)I also plan getting SageTV and using it instead of VMC because, simply, VMC is a joke now. Not sure if I’m going to put SageTV on my WHS or what yet (any opinions would be nice as well as what else I would need for that).
My server is mostly parts I had laying around running a spare copy of MCE2k5.
Server:
MITX mobo pulled from a Shuttle KPC
Celeron 430 Conroe-L
NMedia HTPC 300S
FSP MATX 300w PSU
2x Samsung 750 gig HDDs
Running XP MCE (spare I had laying around)Upgrades:

Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB x1

The plan is to take my existing HTPC mobo/CPU/ram and throw that into the case for my server after upgrading them.
Sound system:

Cheap but decent 5.1 speakersSeriously need to get a new receiver and I might as well go with the 606. 😀 Picking up a cheap and decent speaker set and plan on using my current floor standing speakers for my fronts (they sound awesome).
