My dad called me tonight when he tried to get on his PC and said that it wouldn’t come on. My son had stayed there all day and he said that he had been playing on it without any problems. When I went down there I saw that the computer would not turn on. I swapped out the power supply (which is what I thought) and the computer turned on. The problem is, it still won’t boot. The monitor says, “Monitor is working. Check PC.” I tried swapping the video card…didn’t work; taking out RAM, putting it back in…didn’t work; clearing CMOS…didn’t work; unplugging the hard drive…didn’t work. There’s a green LED lit on the motherboard, which I think means that it’s OK. Anything I do, all I get is a red hard drive light on the front and that message on the monitor. Any ideas?
