Glad to see this site picking up where HTPCnews left off………
I am still configuring my first HTPC and in doing started to wonder what kind of storage amount and configurations all of you had. I thought of this as I’m ripping my DVD collection to my hard drives and calculated that I am going to need 2 750GB drives just for my movie collection! I have a collection of about 240 DVD’s that I rip with DVD Shrink, leave uncompressed, but remove everything but English sound and subtitles. Curious to see what everyone else has……
My Config:
80GB – OS and Programs
250GB – Music, Pictures, and DVR recordings
750GB – DVD’s
future 750GB – More DVD’s
