I’ve pretty much talked myself in to getting the Zalman HD 160 case, and now I need to decide what power supply to get. This may sound cheap, but since the case is going to cost nearly $300, I don’t want to have to spend another $100 ~ $150 on a power supply. But my main goal is to keep this thing as silent as I can so I don’t want to defeat that purpose. I was reading reviews on different PSUs on Newegg, and I found some positive reviews on an OCZ 500 watt power supply that was around $90. What do you guys think? Do you know anything about these? I went in wanting a Seasonic as I have heard good things about them, but I don’t really want to pay that kind of price for one. I’m using a Core 2 Duo E6600 and I plan on getting a Radeon HD 2600xt (yet another reason I don’t want to spend a lot on the power supply). I will just have one hard drive in the system. I don’t think my power needs (as far as wattage) is all that great.
