How do you decide which flavor of linux to use when you have very little experience on any flavor over another? Most of my *nix experience is with HPUX and other flavors of enterprise UNIX’s through my career. I’m interested in people’s thoughts about this in regards to different types of jobs for the systems to do: firewalls, web servers, media servers & file servers, pvr’s, etc.
