I posted this at TGB and thought I’d post it here as well.
So,
I have a WHS box in the basement and a Asus Eeebox 202 as my client PC in the recroom.
How much lifting does the PC hosting Media Center need to send to an extender?
Ideally I could use an Xbox360 at my TV and the Eeebox is always on as well as the WHS box.
Does the 1.6 Ghz Atom with 2 GB RAM have enough muscle to act as the MC client ? I assume it just runs as a service and doesn’t need to actually launch in order to be used with an extender.
Thoughts ?
