OK, so I’m the first to admit this is a weird one, a fringe one, a probably unsolvable one, but what the heck.
I did a fresh install of Windows7 RTM, I installed my remote software (Keyspan 2.3), configured it. I use a Tivo remote, too. I said it was fringe, right?
I can scroll (arrow keys), play/pause/stop. I can do about everything EXCEPT skip or fast forward. If I hit “Ctrl-F” on the keyboard, I skip 30 seconds. If I hit the key on my keyboard, I get nothing. What. The. Heck. ??.
If anyone has any ideas, I’m at a loss. You don’t realize how often you use a feature until it’s gone…
