Well my search for a decent, but cheap Mini-itx case has completely failed! I can’t find a single case that will be almost truley silent.
I have decided to build a wooden case…. I basically don’t need a cd-rom drive so it should be failry small.
For cooling I am proposing using a 140mm fan on the top of the case for cooling the Nvidia Ion board, at 500 RPM it should be inaudabile.
Basically the same as this case but made out of 2mm playwood:

What do you guys think? Will 2mm plywood cause any noise or vibrations?
Am I best to use flex like the guy in youtube?
