I am trying to upgrade my wifes old Dell 5100 laptop for alternate use in my home, and am need of a stick of PC2700 DDR Laptop memory. I would like to find a 1GB chip with 16 modules on it (As they are lower density and of preference by the mobo).
Would also be interested in 2×512 possibly.
Since the spec says it will only work with 2×512 max, but I have read otherwise… I am looking for a reasonable price. I know I can buy a new one for $30 that will work. Just figured I would help offload some old parts for someone if they need it.
