This is a Media program what was once only for a modded Xbox, but now it’s been ported to Windows, Linux, and Mac. It’s currently in Beta 2 right now, and really easy to install. It’s doesn’t add a bunch of crap to your machine.
From personal use, I love this media center software. It’s very customizable, and it just works. And it has a large community.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t fully support the remote control.
