Hi
I am new to yammm. I have run up the configurator. It allows me to add locations and change settings but does not save them. ie when I go back in to the configurator my library locations are not there. There is no error message when I click save having made changes.
Any ideas? Is there a file or registry entry I can manually edit if necessary.
Thanks

Do you have MyMediaCenter installed? If so, uninstall Yammm and update to the latest MyMediaCenter, it will pull the latest Yammm
[/quote]same problem here without MMC installed
October 21, 2013 at 4:31 pm #33186farsiteWin 7 Resource Monitor is the only CPU/Memory monitor I have. Not sure what numbers you need.
Rebooted with YAMMM service set to manual startup. Waited for system idle state & then started YAMMM.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Intel i7-3770K with 8 GB memoryIdle physical memory stats (MB):
1698 in use; 1672 standby; 4354 free; 6025 available; 2101 cachedYAMMM started (after 2-3 minutes, usage became stable)
2615 in use; 1983 standby; 3235 free; 5225 available; 2313 cachedProcess stats (KB):
53726 commit; 59032 working set; 30968 shareable; 28064 privateCPU usage peaked at ~20% about 1 min after service start (7.3% ‘Average CPU’) using 4 cores
Once startup was complete CPU usage decreased to 0 – memory usage remained the same.
Hope this helps. Let me know if there’s a better way to get what you need.
Again, MANY thanks for a great app!

Give me a few hours, I have a new installer done but need to test a bit more. It will require a log file if the install fails.
October 21, 2013 at 7:55 pm #33189bio007Hi, thank you for the great app. I’m glad to see it working again! 🙂 I use it with WMC and it works like a charm – renaming looks working, metadata and IMDB rating as well. I’m not sure if there is somthing else like synopsis in metadata right now but it would be great to have genre and actors there in WMC showing up (and searching). Is it possible? Thanks again for creating such a fine app. 😉

That is a bug, it is meant to be there. It won’t be in the next build as I already have that running and ready to publish but I’ll fix for the following.

October 22, 2013 at 6:44 am #33198mikinhoTwo things:
1- For those without any metadata showing in Windows Media Center.
This is most likely due to multiple dvdid.xml files within your Movie folders. If this happens you’ll need to delete on.
I would just delete them all and restart Yammm but you may want some of the metadata depending on previous apps used.
If you do want to clear all of it…you can run the below command from your movie folder
del /s *.dvdid.xml
net stop YammmSvc && net start YammmSvc
2- I’m traveling tomorrow so if I’m slow to respond, I apologize.

October 22, 2013 at 8:04 am #33199mikinhoHas anyone with a large collection noticed an improvement with the image rendering within Windows Media Center? It should be noticably faster.

Anyone know why mine won’t install with error “YAMMM for (x64) Windows 7 can only be installed on Windows 7″…that is exactly what I am running.

Do you have SP1 installed? I may have a check for that as well.

Do we have to delete the old images that were created by the old Yammm?

Wait until the next build, it won’t be very long. I’m adding an option for sharing the local cache to clients.
