Updated the guide for LPCM/FLAC in MKV.

Change:

Allow AC3Filter to accept “PCM” audio and more strongly suggest merit change.

Nope – x.264.DTS-HD.mkv is  the SageTV FileSource, you need to add that filter manually first.

Don’t add or render the file.  You have a MKV source filter (Haali?) mucking things up, and Sage doesn’t give it’s filters merits that work with IC.

When you build the graph do it all by hand – start with a blank graph and add the filters in the order I laid them out (left to right) starting with the “SageTV FileSource”.

Yes – that was for new installs. 

V6 -> V7 upgrades should have to enter an upgrade key when they start up as well (I think the process is the same, but it’s been a long time since I did the upgrade on my server).

Forgot to comment on the cooling options – very nice cross flow design.

Added a section on QAM setup.  Very similar to ATSC setup, just need to tell Sage to use as a cable tuner with a digital cable EPG.

I like them all (well maybe not the one with the color screen as much) especially the E5 and E6V; very slick.  Black is a must, no silver AV components here 🙂
