Those kinds of issues are usually BIOS related. Are you running the latest for that board?

What does moving have to do with it? It got shipped to you and it can be shipped somewhere else,
Thin TVs are hard to move properly. They have to be upright the whole time and the base isn’t designed to handle the rocking that inevitably occurs when driving, so it’s really easy to damage the set or the base.

No VGA input?
Many TVs that have VGA limit it to sub-1080p resolutions (so pretty useless IMO).

I haven’t kept up with plasma technology for quite a while so I’m not sure how well the current models deal with voltage fluctuations. I seem to recall that this was an issue with early plasmas and that they greatly benefited from the use of a line conditioner to regulate the input voltage.
I haven’t heard any of that issue for modern sets, but all my A/V equipment is hooked up to a UPS; planning to get a separate one for the TV soon.

Do companies have to pay extra for an OS license beyond what they pay the OEM for it? SW licensing is such a dark art 🙂

For people just now taking the HDTV plunge or those that are looking to upgrade an existing HDTV, then it might be something worth considering if it does not significantly raise the cost over a comparable non-3DTV set. I just don’t see where most people would go out and upgrade to a 3DTV because they feel it’s a “must have” feature.
This year’s 3D HDTVs are pretty much the same price as the model they replaced and much cheaper than comparable sets from a few years ago.

Personally (i.e. I have no data to back this up), I think 3D is taking a foothold significantly faster than Blu-ray.
There’s no doubt that it will. It’s become a checkbox feature on HDTVs; already leaking into the mid-range.

If price isn’t a concern there are better options for 1080i AVC content; I would have liked to see how the Zino performed with the 4330. I suspect that many of the DI issues both with AVC and other interlaced content would have been significantly reduced. That said, cost is a big factor in selecting the Zino over other SFF HTPC so it’s hard to ignore in the discussion.
It would be interesting to see how the market segmented on PCs like the Zino v. a standalone streamer.
