I wish I had your motivation to write code. I was briefly interested in writing for Android prior to getting my phone and then every idea I had was already done.
Then last week I installed everything to write code with lightswitch but there are so many bugs in using it I am going to wait until a RC comes out.

Check Craigslist, in the computer gigs section. You’ll find plenty of people with “million dollar ideas” who need a partner to code it for them. Especially mobile apps or websites. I’ve read enough stories on TheDailyWTF to know how most of those stories will work out, but sometimes I think it would be fun to do a couple in my spare time.
A limitation of the MCE remote is the number of programmable buttons. Mine has 3 buttons, 1 for power, and 2 for volume up/down. I can’t use it to turn the TV and AVR on and off. You could get a soundbar with auto power, and use the remote’s learning buttons for TV power and soundbar volume.

I love Outsourced. I wish I was watching it now, but only 2 tuners and my wife has to have her soap operas (vampire diaries, greys anatomy) Fortunately its on Hulu.

Slightly off-topic, but what is the status for PC support for Sony’s DualShock3 and keypad? I had tried to use the SixAxis controller on my PC when they first came out with no luck. Has it gotten easier in the past 4 years?
I found I could type faster and with far fewer errors using my thumb board due in part to its physical presentation/hard feedback.
Perhaps the technology has improved since that device was released, but I have a feeling that the lack of feedback is going to continue to be a detriment to any VKB.
If the phone sits on a hard surface and is projecting on the same hard surface, I wonder if the phone could transmit enough vibrations through the surface for haptic feedback. Obviously wouldn’t work if you’re trying to lay on a bed and type, but could work sitting at a table.

Photos. I usually don’t care enough about a product to sit through a 5 minute video. If I do care enough then I’ve probably pre-ordered it already. 15-30 seconds of browsing the photos is plenty.
