I can’t believe you missed Modern Family.

And the Boardwalk (Old school Mafia) is coming to HBO soon.

I know I get a 10 dollar mutli service fee discount via Comcast. I pay 39.95 for the 10mb down and then 20 something plus the all the taxes for TV.

I’ll have to check those out. I was pretty excited to see my cable bill was only 70 bucks this month instead of 150.85 in July. I was thinking about the CETON tuner but having a few hundred channels of nothing worth watching the majority of the time isn’t worth the 70 bucks a month plus up front 400 bucks for hardware. Now if HuluPlus can get the shows I want I’ll pay the 10 bucks a month. HBO and Showtime can be handled via torrents. Maybe Comcast will wake up and lower their prices if enough people drop the extra services, but most likely they’ll just screw us and raise the internet rate.

Careful who you show it to. You’ll get that one in-law that will try to take your idea and implement it with the old Dell box sitting in his closet over a 11.B wifi and blame you when it all doesn’t come together and work on the new $5K TV he bought to show it all off….. Yeah, I’ve been down that road.

I like how they say “with each other”. My wife’s tastes are totally different than mine. She has no interest in Hung or True Blood just like I don’t have any interest in the Biggest Loser or most any other reality tv show. Weeds and the occasional game show are about the only shows we both like.

And I’d like to see how they are going to get the content Hulu has, I don’t see Hulu sharing out their content with the competition. Isn’t Hulu owned by a network?

I am sure a low end would be fine if not preferable as you can get the lower end card that is fan lessnoiseless. Provided you have adequate cooling in your case.

I am using a 4550 ATI card and it works well. Because I have a AVR I ran optical out from my sound card to the AVR and the HDMI directly to the TV. Why, because I was having handshake issues with the PC-AVR-TV.
As far as being washed out maybe it is your adapter. You might be able to fix the image via the Catalyst Control Panel or look at a new adapter.

I’m kind of waiting to see what will happen with the ethernet interface for video and audio that is supposed to be coming.
