That is very disappointing news. I guess with tuner sharing being possible on the CETON I might as well get 4 tuners working off one cablecard than 3.

One slow down I see is when I try to go to the music library on the 360. It seems to take a minute or two to create the library and is actually unresponsive while it is fetching the covers and metadata.
Also Netflix is very slow on the HTPC also. Yet it is pretty responsive on the 360.
And photos can be a little unresponsive on the HTPC also. If I am playing a slideshow and rating them sometimes the rating goes to the next photo. Then if I hit the arrow back button there is a brief pause. Also hitting info there is brief pause. Not to the point of frustrating as much as I would expect it to be faster with all these indexes being used by the various parts of the system (WHS and the Local HTPC)
The entire network is all gigabit and once everything syncs up it works without lag. So I guess I’ll just split the 2 sticks between the 2 systems and bring them both up to 4Gig.

I imagine they will be hitting recorded tv more than live so I guess 4Gb is where I need to be. I wonder how much RAM is needed to support the 8 extender limit.
Also if I use the WHS app to move recorded TV off the HTPC is the network smart enough to route the data straight from the server to the XBOX or does the HTPC play it and does the extender watch it through a terminal service view?

Now should I up my HTPC from 2 to 4gig if I get the CETON or up to 6 gig. I have a WHS box with 2Gb currently and I don’t know if taking that to 4 gig would be as useful as putting more in the HTPC.

Everytime I turn the xbox on upstairs the one downstairs turns on. Although i think that is the only command that does it, it is till annoying.

Well all the WWEWWF actors never really appeared to have any skills when acting in the ring. The Rock has done alright though, much better than Hulk Hogan’s acting for sure.
I just want to see Jet Li go all spider monkey on some bad guys.
