500 – 700. You might look into this.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.513520&cm_sp=DailyDeal-_-513520-_-Combo

Then sell the tuner if you don’t want it and the money towards a BD drive. I’ve seen BD drives for as low as 40 bucks and some change, might as well get one and you will still be under budget. Either way I think you can get everything you need for less than 7 easily. I think the Ceton tuner has a 3gb ram min so you might as well get 2x2Gb sticks. I am running 4 tuners now and feeding 3 XBOX 360s.

    AMD 620 Propus
    Gigabyte 780G series board
    4Gb ram
    Kingston SSD for OS
2x250Gb drives in Raid 0 for Recorded TV (Only because I had a few laying around)
Silverstone LC17 Case (Overkill but I have a future plan of making this my next WHSVail) box.
An Intel NIC, onboard NICs tend to offload processing to the system and that was causing me issues.

I had a tri core 720 in the system before that worked well and I imagine you could use any of the 45watt dual core AMD processors.

And why does the chick on Weeds always dress somewhere between a hooker and a homeless person.

For a good Chuck replacement I would look at No Ordinary Family. It isn’t as good as Chuck was in the first season IMO but there aren’t many family shows available after 8 these days.

I am almost positive I have flow control enabled. The only thing I messed with per silicondust was the interrupt moderation and offload settings.

I got the drivers from the Realtek site. They need a restore to default option on the properties panel. And every time I update the driver they layout of the properties tabs change. Last night it was working ok for network video but I noticed on two shows that must have recorded at the same time that all network connectivity dropped for a couple minutes because at the same time in both shows the video displayed no tuner available, the HDHR tuners.

Doesn’t the site get kickbacks from click through ads?

Thanks for the RSS links, they work perfect in outlook.

Even if my HDHR was going south it would not affect my Video from the WHS. But I will probably change my sources on the channels to use the more recent HDHR I bought.

I reinstalled the realtek drivers a couple times and they don’t reset the defaults. So I am not sure where I am on those settings. I think the Intel NIC will most likely help the most. I just wish Fry’s carried them so I could test and return if it doesn’t fix the issue.

I trust my cables more than I do store bought ones. I use CAT6 solid core and connectors from firefold.com. NExt time I need cable I’ll probably go wish shielded to protect from electric interference. I know the stuff they wired up my house with was dirt cheap and criss crosses all kinds of electric bundles in the attic.

I think the free version of MyMovies will do it.

Bad acting is what pushed me away from Fringe. The same thing is happening with Sons of Anarchy and Weeds, which reminds me that I need to see if the 3rd season of Breaking Bad is out.

There are news readers and there are forum posters. I tend to come most for answers to my issues and see what other issue people are running into. I check the home page every couple days but was the post only on the side or was it listed as news in addition to being on the side. I don’t pay much attention to the side bar. And I did find the Newegg ad but it is kind of buried. I’d suggest a link up top to take us to a page listing all the vendors.

As far as news items and polls how hard would it be to get a daily dump of links in an email. And/or is there an RSS feed? I have Dailytech’s feed setup in outlook so I can see new items as they come in.
