Sorry I didn’t use the proper term.
When you go to the NIC properties it is under Configure -> Power Management (tab)
Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”

The Realtek 1G has had a lot of reported problems lately. So far the only work-arounds have been to either 1- use a different driver, I believe 2 updates back, or 2- disable the sleep and hibernate settings for the NIC under power settings.

Though I would have waited anyways, need to see if the firmware has any issues in RAID6.

Hmmm…I may have to check out The Event as well. I’ve been recording it but haven’t had time to watch an episode yet.

The same misinformation was floating around when Panny refreshed their 2010 Blu-ray player line as well. It turned out that some European models got DLNA, but Panny never seemd to think the US should be blessed with it. Panasonic doesn’t seem to think much of DLNA support it seems 🙁
Well that explains the screenshots I saw of DLNA action on the VT25 in a German forum.

Interesting, it is listed as being DLNA certified, which doesn’t actually mean much, but only from unofficial sources (i.e. http://www.dexid.org/wiki/Panasonic_TCP58VT25).

FWIW I have an Intel DH57JG, Intel Core i3-540, 8GB RAM, X25-M 160GB and Ceton InfiniTV4 powered by the picoPSU-150-XT + 102W without issue. It idles at ~26W and during Blu-ray playback I haven’t seen it go over 52W.

While most rack mount cases can have the rack ears removed, typically 4 or 5 screws, the Take 3 doesn’t appear to have removable, at least from the photos. I would e-mail their support.
At my old job I wanted to use a rack mount server I had as my primary desktop but I didn’t have the room for it either. I don’t know if this would work for you but what I did was install a small hanging rack below my desk: StarTech RK319WALLV 3U 19in Steel Vertical Rack and Wall Mountable Server Rack. It isn’t appropriate for heavy servers, its typical use case is network and other shallow rack gear but a shallow case works as well.

I had the 3U version installed under my desk. I also have a 4U wall mounted in my closet for my networking gear. Sorry I can’t be more helpful in terms of your original request.
