Connected via HDMI at 1080i. The hazehas always been weird, but founds ways around with Nvidia and ATI in the past. I just do not seem such adjustments available for the Intel HD graphics.
SJMayeGood Idea, but saw nothing in the MB manual. it is an ASRock H55M PRO. Dang. I have a message in to nMediaPC to see if they have any ideas.
SJMayeReally?! I never really thought of that. I will check out whats available to me in the bios.
Thx for the tip
Sorry. No RS232.
I am confused as to what I need myself.
I had considered built-in HTPC amplifiers to power the hometheater speakers, but the reviews on such a setup were not good. They recommended a special external amplifier specifically made for MC. You still controlled the audio through MC, but this amplifier would power up and down automatically with your media center. As I recall it was a little on the high side, so I thought there may now be some similar, yet less costly solutions.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I have several Harmonys. I like them too, but like I said I am trying to stay with Media Center all the way. I find the OEM media center remote amazingly simple and effective. I have the same remote with each TV. The wife factor says that is a good thing. I am going to leave that alone.
Maybe I need one of those amplified sound bars connected directly to the TV.

Looks like Chuck and Chase are locked in for the season also:I was a huge Chuck fan for the first couple seasons. For whatever reason NBC appeared to be trying to kill the show back then, but now it is locked in when it no longer interests me. Go figure.

Thanks for the lead on the nMediaPC. Nice looking case. Price is right, too.

I like the thought of hidden USB port ports and such. I only use mine when doing an upgrade or something. I had considered RF, but I want one simple remote that will also turn the TV off. My TV will not accept RF signals. I personally like the old silver MS MCE remote.

Thanks for all the input. The half heights are cute, but I am sure you are right about looking toward the future. I will go full height.
I was looking at the Antec Fusion Black. I like the looks. I like that it has built in IR receiver. Price is a little more than I wanted to spend, but what are you going to do?
Any other case you would recommend looking at?
