80mm in e6 and e7, 60mm in e5 and eHD10.
There are quiet but to answer your question I should compare both fans in the same conditions.
For isolation – rubber.  I added some pictures to show it.

I like the hard drive mount.  Will you have something similar for the DVD drive?

Definitely test multiple fans.  For reference, most people use SilentPCReview to figure out what fan to buy.  They even have a nice list breaking them down.  You may notice that there are no 60mm fans listed.  This is due to the difficulty in finding any quiet 60mm fans on the market.  With how nice all your cases are, they beg to be “shown off”, rather than hidden away.  If they’re loud, this won’t be possible, though.

With the shorter cases, you obviously can’t use 80mm fans, but what might be better is more fans spinning at slower speeds.  The eHD10 really comes to mind here.  I’m no expert on airflow, but I think the design might need some tweaking.  With 10 hard drives in there, it’s going to get warm.  I don’t know the direction of the 4 fans being shown, but I have trouble believing all drives are going to receive airflow from the fans.  Just my opinion here.

LMAO!  Definitely did not see that coming, but I sure should have.  Well played, Wendy.  ;D  I’m certainly not going to volunteer for something before I’ve actually attended one myself, though.  Who knows…  it might not be worth it.  😉  j/k

That’s usually what networks do now.  They test the waters and see how it’s received.  If it does well, they’ll order a full season of 10-13 episodes.  If it does extremely well (rare) and they’re very confident, they’ll order a 2nd season.  Otherwise, after the 10-13 episodes, they’ll examine the results and determine whether a 2nd season will happen.  Spartacus was an extremely rare case where the network was so confident after just the screenings (before it had even aired a single episode) that they ordered a second season right away.

Is all that really necessary, though?  All I’m looking to do is get EAX from some old games out to my receiver, so that it plays in 5.1 with all the “extra” EAX stuff.

Based on what I was reading here, I was under the impression it’s free now.  You can download the DTS Connect software right from that page.  Or, is it the DD Live that actually does it and that still needs to be purchased?

Have one in the NY area and I’ll definitely be there.

Looking over the cases which would be similar to my Antec Fusion, I had a few thoughts.  What size fans are being used in these?  Are they quality, quiet fans, like Nexus?  Also, what are you doing for noise isolation for hard drives and to keep vibration of the case itself to a minimum?

I agree, if anything hide them with a flip down door.
If I followed correctly (e6V and e7T), they already do cover them with a door.  I think the question was whether they should offer another model without the door.

I love my Antec and think it would be pretty plain on the front without the ports, even if they were concealed by a door.  Plus, if there was a door, then my keyboard receiver would require that the door be permanently open.  What do others do with their kb receivers?  Does anyone run a USB extension cable from the back to the front and hide the receiver at the front edge?
