This may very well just be my luck, but I’ve run into issues when downloading drivers via Windows update.  In fact, it once installed a new network driver which made my connection completely unreliable.  It actually took me about 5 tries to get the driver downloaded so I could revert.  I download all the latest drivers direct from the manufacturer now.

I kept having stuttering issues and audio sync problems with MakeMKV, however, it seemed to work fine on the ones the other tool couldn’t handle.  Very strange, but it worked out for me, so I’m not complaining.  I’m pretty sure I had issues with subtitles using MakeMKV, though, and wound up having to create them using another tool.

I couldn’t agree more.  I think he went with the right choice.  Although, an image of the tuner in a bowl of lettuce would have been pretty damn funny!  (Just not very good for the tuner itself.)

Is there supposed to be a screenshot or attachment in your first post?  I even checked the code in your message to ensure it wasn’t just a matter of my browser not displaying it, but I don’t see what you’re referring to when you say, “this is what I see on my TV”.
