Pioneer unveiled the next generation of PDP HDTV

With all of the talk about high contrast ratios from LCDs and SEDs these days, Plasma was starting to get a bad rap. Pioneer fired back today with an announcement of a plamsa that will offer a 20000:1 contrast ratio. A pretty big improvement considering this gen of plasmas are in the 3000:1 range. Don't expect them to hit BB next week, they hope to have them in time for the 2008 Olympics.
