Sharp ships new twin-tuner Freeview PVR

Sharp has just released a new DVR with twin Freeview tuners. The 160GB model supports the 8 day Freeview EPG along with a PIP function. As well, this model will record subtitles if recording your favorite foreign language film.

Other features of the R160H worth a mention include an unusually low
power consumption rate of 0.5W in Standby mode (many similar products
on the market consume more than 15W); quieter running time than
competitors thanks to an internal design that means there’s no need for
a cooling fan; two Scart connections (1 x RGB, 1 x SVHS); RS232
connection; and an optical digital audio output.
