Tivo Talks With The FCC
More then one or two owners have been denied CableCards for their series 3 TiVos. Zatz talks about their frustration in dealing with Cable companies and also posts a letter that TiVo sent to the FCC. It seems to be a mixed bag of results when trying to get a CableCard for a 3rd party device, I guess it depends on the installer and the local branch of the Cable company.
