Graphical Media Center Remote Front Panel
Thanks, as always, for Chris L. pointing out this Media Center Remote Front panel from ACS! I see some nice potential for surrounding room control. For example, in a great room style house, you would not need an additional zone to listen to your HTPC, but it would be nice to have an inexpensive solution like this to control your music.

provides an outstanding MCE remote front panel display for Windows
MCE. Not only does it display the current MCE state, it also allows
you to control MCE using the membrane switch overlay.
Using our display terminal as an MCE remote, you can control your MCE
machine from anywhere in your house. Change radio stations, browse
photos, control your PVR and more. The Media Center remote display can
be mounted in any standard double gang outlet box.
A simple connection to
the serial port
and power supply of
your MCE machine, installation of the driver and display configuration software,
and you are up and running. LCD Color is specified when
ordering.
