I know I said I wouldn't be posting news about WHS, but I feel like I've got to give Ian the credit for taking the time to do so. I still feel there's a lot of potential for it, and HTPC's aside, if you've got several systems at home, it's not a bad way to keep a safe backup.

I have been interested in Windows Home Server
since it was announced at CES and so as soon as I could get hold of the
beta bits I did. In this video I walk through the features of the
Windows Home Server console, looking at Shared Folders, Users
accounts and Backups.
