Reason to Stick with Cable Co’s DVR Boxes?

I can't decide if this is a reason why you should buy/build your own PVR/DVR, or a reason you shouldn't…So judge for yourself. Either way, Time Warner is probably in a bit of trouble, since at the very least, they manually moved a box with recordings from one home to another person's. Think of the legal ramifications!

My wife pushes the green LIST button on the remote control and up comes the previous owners recorded content; 20% full of all adult content. As my wife tries to figure out how to get out of the menu mode, Hole Diggers – Part 2 starts playing. Into the other room go the kids, off goes the TV and here comes an angry phone call to me by my wife about what am I going to do about this
