Satellite+Clearwire=Wireless Broadband?

Well, that's what DirecTV and Echostar are claiming with their partnership with WiMax provider Clearwire. They're claiming 2-8Mbps, but we all know how promises like this usually play out. Plus, what are they intending to charge for this service and what kind of security will they have in place?
