Vista Cable Card FAQ

Chris Lanier gets his Cable Card freak on by answering some questions you know you had about it but were afraid to ask. This on the day that Vidabox also announces they're shipping cable card systems. Curious to hear if the bugs have been worked out, guess only time will tell.

Q: Who currently offers CableCARD PCs?A: As of writing, Velocity Micro, Sony, HP, Vidabox, Niveus Media, S1Digital are currently shipping CableCARD PCs. HP has the cheapest current PCs, but are single tuner only. Sony's are also single tuner only. Velocity Micro is next in line in terms of value and offers dual tuners and much better customer support along with S1Digital. Niveus Media and Vidabox are both on the high end.
