High_Def digest has the scoop on Samsung’s upcoming dual-format player.  No details are givin except you can expect it in an October/November time frame and that it will support all features of both formats.

The company said Wednesday that it plans to unleash its new player (which was originally announced several months back) in October or November of this year. Yesterday’s announcement was made at a preparation event for the IFA tradeshow in Germany, where Samsung is expected to display the player in late August.
