Target to only sell Blu-ray players in stores

I wonder how much longer it will be before the US DOJ starts looking at these announcements as collusion between the Blu-ray group and retailers.  Having exclusive agreements like this is certainly illegal, but proving they exist will be difficult, as Intel and Microsoft have proven.

Still, coupled with Blockbuster’s decision to only stock Blu-ray discs, it looks like the format war might be fought and won at the retailer level, not by consumers.
