Did somebody say shameless self promotion?
I don’t usually self-promote, but I just updated my SageMC Video Tools plug-in and added a bunch of killer new features that I think warrant a little trumpeting. My original, secret, goal was just to give DVR-MS Toolbox a little competition for the best HTPC video tool. I think I may have over shot a little bit 😉
Features:
- Use alternate encoders such as mencoder and handbrake.
- Compress DVD’s that you have ripped in your video library using handbrake
- Automatically crop videos to remove black bars (mencoder, handbrake)
- Auto-compress favorites with multiple profiles (ex: In Place x264 & iPod Compatable to a folder)
- Specify detailed settings such as bitrate, deinterlace, codecs, container, number of passes, etc.
- Support for alternate codecs/containers
- Easily modifiable/distributable encoding profiles
Editor: We encourage self promotion! Especially when you are selflessly making the HTPC community a better one :D. I think he needs to rename this the SageTV Toolbox 😉
