VMC DVD Streaming In The Near Future?

We heard a little while ago that DVD streaming maybe coming to VMC. Rather then wait around, an ambitous user is in the process of creating a plugin that should allow for extenders to pick up on the VOB files through the use of symbolic links. Confused? Yah, I’ll have to leave this one to the programmers, however, if it works I am all for it.

The developer is looking for testers, so go on over and sign up if you are interested.

I have since found a solution that works that allows me to 1) keep my hard-drive based DVD collection as it already is, and 2) retain the friendly DVD Gallery functionality already built into VMC for the family room. The solution will provide for hard drive based DVD structures (such as those that DVD Gallery uses now) and possibly ISO file disc images as well.
