HTPC Tip Of The Day: Wireless Zune Sync
Today’s Tip of the Day is more Zune related then HTPC related. I know it can be tough when I switch gears but I think it is worth while.
As a few of you know, I got a an 80GB Zune a couple of weeks back. Up until now I had been hooking it up to my HTPC to sync and start finding podcasts to download and listen to at work. I had never really given Ian’s show a fair crack because I didn’t really have a convenient method to listen to podcasts. This is where the wireless sync really comes in handy!!
Every night when I get home, all I have to do is plug my Zune into the docking station and hit wireless sync knowing that it will download the latest songs, podcasts I have set to sync. This is a big ++ for me. It would be nice to have an auto-sync at a certain time every night. One can wish 🙂
I setup my Zune on my HTPC because I wasn’t entirely sure if I would need the Zune software on the computer I want to sync TV shows with. This is where concurrent sessions is going to very handy! I can RD into my HTPC to fiddle with the Zune software with no interruption during TV watching :).
Any recommendations for podcasts?
