After months of working cablecard systems users are getting redtricted content error since Thursday night. Looks like it mostly Dell PCs, I have not seen any other systems mention.
The Green Button LTRipley said he did a fresh install of Vista so I would think that deleting the files in the DRM folder is just a temp fix.I received the Restricted Content message this morning again. happened between 1:00am and 5:00am. I powered off each DCT and removed the cablecard, then powered them back on and ran the TV signal setup. After that finished I powered them back off and reinstalled the card and then powered them back on and ran the TV signal setup. It was working when I left for work this morning. We will see how long it lasts but so far it has never been longer than 24 hours or overnight.
