New Mac Mini available, now with 9400M graphics
The rumors were true, Apple finally released a new Mac Mini. This one might have some use as an HTPC. It has a 2.0 Ghz Core 2 Duo processor, and a chipset that should be able to handle high-def video. Storage is still puny, at 120GB or 320GB. It also looks like they improved the energy efficiency, with claims of 13 watts when idle.
The NVIDIA GeForce 9400M brings up to five times faster graphics performance to Mac mini. Perfect for your photos, movies, games, and applications.
Mac mini uses 45 percent less power than the previous model — less than
13W while it’s idle. This makes Mac mini the most energy-efficient
desktop computer in the world.
