Ceton is back with less vapor ware

Well Ceton is back in the news with another round of here is our CableCARD tuner. With Microsoft releasing CableCard to anyone with a computer, I hope to see these cards make it sooner or later. The sexy bit of info is that one tuner card equipped with one multi-stream card can record four HD channels at once. Schweet. No pricing as of yet but I would expect the price to be somewhere north of $250-$300. Ain’t speculation fun :).

As expected, it is a single PCI-E card that uses one multi-stream CableCARD and offers the ability to record four HD channels at once. The tuner shows up as a single network adapter in Windows and still uses UPnP like the currently available ATI tuner does.
