We’ll see if it ever hits the light of day, but it’s good to see them trying new things at least. Automated Home The hard disk in the new product is said to be 4 to 5 times the size of current Sky+ HD box (so probably around a terabyte) and is said to need to be connected to a broadband service. Not surprisingly, video on demand is mentioned – presumably delivered via the broadband connection. Various configurations options for the cabling, including a satellite connection to all boxes in the home or a satellite connection to a single box and broadband router.
